The Eileen Hickey Thanksgiving Dinner is an annual event where volunteers come together to fill plates with turkey, cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes. Now in its 34th year, this tradition was started by Earline Patrice, but after her death, Eileen Hickey continued the tradition. After Mrs. Hickey’s death in 2000, the dinner was named after her.

Thousands of people less fortunate have been the recipient of a sumptuous thanksgiving dinner over these years. Individuals and families volunteer for the cause. The fixings on the plates and other gifts also come from generous sponsors who respond to Mr. Hickey’s invitation to help defray the costs of the dinner.
