Ink and watercolor Jungle Cruise hut

Here is the digital version of the sketch. I think that my pen work has improved exponentially since the last project, and I am more pleased with my color-work. Next time, I'd like to figure out how to get more vibrant colors without having to resort to a vibrance adjustment after I'm done painting.

I used GrutBrushes' "Wain Ruff" and "Fun Runner" brushes in Photoshop. Based on this photograph.
This is my paper sketch for my next ink-and-watercolor piece. I haven't traced it digitally yet because I am trying to figure out how to make a brush look like a micron pen. On my last piece, the ink looked too much like a marker. I am trying to make the lines a little finer, and figure out how to make the brush "bleed" like a pen does. I drew my sketch on watercolor paper so that I can color it traditionally as well as digitally. This sketch is based on a photo found on flickr
