The Weyland Corporation is stationed above Earth in a four story space ship. Finally having the xenomorph prototype in their grasp, they start experimenting on the alien's blood at a molecular level, managing to cross engineer it's enzyme with a snake, a rhino, a bat, and a scorpion. Military squadron are on board the space craft, known as The Peninsula, where they are stationed to make sure no one gets on the ship, or off it.
Sigourney Weaver is on a smaller ship heading towards Earth when she sees The Peninsula in the distance...["what's that?" - "It's a space lab...of some sort. Not sure what goes on there, but the Company keeps it top secret."] She starts to have flashbacks of Newt, and what transpired on Fiorina 161 when she sees the name of the ship. She discovers at the base camp on Earth that the Weyland Corporation has actually obtained what they have been after since the events of Alien, and going against her friend's advice, takes a small crew of mercenaries to a ship in order to shut it down. One of her colleagues, played by Elizabeth Olsen, a humanoid, accompanies them, only to find out that The Peninsula has started it's descent towards Earth.
Kiera Knightley plays a scientist who upon entering her station, discovers the corpse of a snake along a metal table in the center of the room, it's body ripped open by something that keeps making a clicking sound in the shadowy corners of the lab. Kiera sounds the alarm, and the ship goes on high alert. They touch down on Earth, and begin to evacuate, when military personnel tell them they are not allowed to leave the "building".
Eventually each of the alien hybrids escape. An alien with a long tail - that it bangs along the side of the walls - gets loose on the first floor [yellow lighting]. A second xenomorph with wings escapes on the second floor of the ship [red lighting]. A Xeno with a horn on the front of it's head, and a large body, escapes on the third floor [green lighting], and one with no legs - that slither's around - on the top floor [blue lighting].
Sigourney and Elizabeth, along with one other person that reminds her of Corporal Hicks, played by Jai Courtney, make their way into The Peninsula through a shaft, and try to destroy the alien hybrids one by one - while squadrons are picked off by an alien that would be considered a King Alien, (smaller than your average sized xenomorph), in the basement of the ship.
Eventually they make their way down into the basement, avoiding facehugger eggs that never hatch, and discover that the Weyland Corporation's true intentions were to militarize the xenomorph, and it's genetic design, against the United States, England, France, Germany, and Brazil. They discover that Weyland is an arms dealer, out to make a lot of money from the death of many people.
