SUTRAH / STILTE SPLIT is a 5-song music album between bands Sutrah and stilte that redefine the sounds of psychedelia, hard rock, post-metal and sludge rock.

Recorded separately, SUTRAH / STILTE SPLIT was made once again by record producer Patricio Claypole along with the special collaboration of the American producer Billy Anderson at El Attic Studios.

Billy Anderson is an American record producer, engineer and musician from Portland, Oregon, formerly from the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Since 1986 he has worked with bands including Neurosis, Swans, Melvins, Jawbreaker, Sleep, Brutal Truth, Buzzoven, Fantômas, Agalloch, Cattle Decapitation, Mr. Bungle, Asunder and Red House Painters. He is also a member of the bands Blessing the Hogs, Men of Porn, Tribes of Neurot, Los Natas Solodolor and Good God.

The first part of the split recorded by Sutrah goes through playful musical compositions, spiritual trances and many incresendos. While in the second part, stilte course the sides of irony, satire, ridicule and low frequencies through shorter and more intense songs.

Unlike other albums, in this split we worked more closely together with Gabriel Lamoretti (aka El Gabe) in all the conceptual artwork.

All the branding stuff emphasize the culture, national traditions and colonizations as well as to caudillos, Spanish army and cavalry, heraldic culture, Eastern traditions and the great conquerors that come from the name of the songs.

“Liberando su tropa avanzaba / erguido en montaraz / la voz de los paisanos más pobres / agitaba el puñal” ("Liberating his troop he was riding / erect in mountain / the voice of the poorest countrymen / waving the dagger"), Sutrah's second song lyrics are dedicated to Angel Vicente Peñaloz (alias "El Chacho" Peñaloza) caudillo and Argentine federal military, is clearly opposed to stilte's song titles like "Genghis Khan" or "Infanta de Castilla".

All the artwork takes several elements such as swords, tigers, wolves, petals, trees, candles, forests, capes, helmets, trumpets, eagles, bibs, oriental calligraphy, etc.

The main font used in this split is H74 Federation but I made some adjustments for better readability.
