Introduction:
For my family crest I wanted to dedicate it mainly to my Great-Grandma Emma, who immigrated to the United States in 1941 during WWII.  She recently died 2 years ago and I felt it would be necessary much symbolism of her to commemorate her.

Explanation:

For my family crest I wanted to include symbolism in honor of my Great Grandma Emma who recently passes away.  She represents so much my family stands for. She moved to the United States from the Netherlands during WWII.  She was Roman Catholic.  She was a sister to 9 other siblings. Once she got to America she lived in Columbus, Ohio and that is where I was born so my family has much history and Ohio blood in us.

PX- The Roman Catholic Symbol
The Windmill- Symbolism for Dutch
The Buckeye(Leaved Circle)- Ohio State Nut / Ohio Symbolism
The Red- Represents Ohio
The Yellow-  Represents Gold as a luxurious color to symbolize "If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much"
