I was assigned a family crest project in class. I tried to make a creative crest that encompassed what I felt was important to my family.

My name is Carty Shoen. My goal for my crest was to encompass my whole family while keeping it clean, simple, and interesting. I included the origins of my family by depicting images the countries that my family came from. Then above them I included symbols that show which state my family came from. At the top I made a saguaro cactus which represents Arizona, where we live.
