Fekete Péter re-imagined
One of the projects we had to do as junior students at BRI was to completely redesign a traditional Hungarian card game - Fekete Péter.
Fekete Péter could be compared to the vintage Old Maiden deck game, as their rules are nearly identical, both of them being light-hearted games suitable for mostly all age groups.
The whole deck revolves around pairs, and a single card being the odd-one-out of the bunch. The most important part of redesigning the deck was to make diverse, interesting pairs that were coherent yet easily distinguished from one another.
I took this project in a quite personal direction, while keeping it easy to grasp by any viewers other than myself.

My concept was to illustrate characters from movies dear to my heart- before and after their passing.
As most of these movies hold many special memories or nostalgic feelings to me,
I decided to illustrate them in pixel art, which I have been a huge admirer of ever since I was a child.
