The scene from Steamboat Bill Jr. is one of the great arts that have put his name in the history books, and yet, since I was little even in the 90s, the name Buster Keaton wasn't in my dictionary. To make things worse, I even thought that the Great Charlie Chaplin was the one who stood on the ground while the whole front of a house collapsed onto him (or around him, in a sense). All in all, I was awed by his tenacity to bring forth the creativity that one can harness despite the limitation that came with the old black and white camera.

Only recently that I've found out about this unsung hero of mine when I watched an episode of Comedy Central's Drunk History that talked about him. I became more awe-struck as I watched his silent films later on, and found myself adoring his imagination even further.

Now that I've found my true inspiration, I dedicated this artwork to The Genius, Joseph "Buster" Keaton. You were truly a gem in this world, I am more than grateful to be one of your admirers.
