A custom Whiskey Cabinet built from Appalachian White Oak utilizing a large box joint construction detail. On top delicately floats a white matte glass top. The interior features integrated custom LED lighting synced to the operation of the push-to-open doors. A flat polished Starphire glass shelf provides elevated storage for glassware.
Custom turned, tapered legs of White Oak meet the floor on 1/4" white plastic glides, bringing a visual symmetry to the white top of the cabinet.
White Oak is the traditional (and legally specified) material used by coopers to create Bourbon barrels- in considering the design of this cabinet it was the was the only logical species choice to pursue. Appropriately the whiskey, having aged for many years in its White Oak womb, spends its final days housed once again in this Oaken cabinet.
