YORN Shake It / Lusitânia

Sample of illustrations selected for the final stage of Vodafone's YORN Shake It contest. Its aim was to create a thematic set of playable cards that would work as rewards for a mobile game.
The idea behind these drawings was to conjugate some of Portugal's historical and literary personalities — Luís Vaz de Camões, Infante D. Henrique and Padeira de Aljubarrota, respectively — with technology trends, originating a peculiar aesthetic. Furthermore, this theme would work simultaneously as a pedagogic experience, teaching younger audiences the value of national culture.
