These first two pieces were done as an homage to H.P. Lovecraft and his frequent mention of the fictional Miskatonic University.  I decided to accentuate the 'weird' factor and gave them a basketball team, the Miskatonic Shoggoths.

 

The third and final piece is related to the first two and is an evolution of those ideas.  Note the identical eye to the basketball team logo.  This came from a tiny thumbnail sketch in one of my sketch pads.  I just like drawing eldritch abominations I guess.
