Self-Portrait
It's Still Me
Photography
Process: In the back of the room, we set up some fluorescent lights and covered them in butchers paper. This is my first time messing the camera settings outside of auto and marco. I think I captured my confidence (in certain situations). I also have stars on my face.
Reflection: For some reason, there's a green tinge that I tried to get rid of. I don't really like this one but I do like the way my hair and shirt turned out. This is also called "I Need A Haircut". I think the focus was all in my shirt thus my face is slightly out of focus.

Thank you Jessica for being my model!
Process: In the back of the room, we set up some fluorescent lights and covered them in butchers paper. I used a plastic folder and a flash light to get the blue and red-ish lights.
Reflection: This one turned out a lot better than my self-portrait. I like the dark cast shadow on the left side of he face. This is definitely a mood lighting. Her eye's aren't as in focus as I would have like but it's alright.

Stranger
Unknown #5.30
Photography
A stranger I met at aikido. Thank you, Em!
Process: I adjusted the ISO so that there's more light coming in (more sensitive?). I found this bench and some bushes around the aikido training area.
Reflection: I'm really happy with the intensity of her jacket and the colours in general.

Family
Emperor of the House
Photography
Process: I decided to take a photo of my mum with a dramatic red light. I got a lamp and put a red shirt over it and asked her to face the light. The first image makes her look like an emperor! The red also makes her look really powerful and lucky.
Reflection: I may have turned the ISO down too low. I think these look super cool and I'm really happy with them.

Animal
Wanderers
Photography
Process: I don't have a pet so these are just random animals walking the streets around my house. Cats are super hard to take photos of especially if they're out on the street. Come within two meters and they run so the cat was taken from across the street thus it's somewhat blurry. The cat also looks super wary of me but that's a given. The bird, however, I managed to get close too but I'm not sure if it counts as a portrait or not.
Reflection: I'm really happy with the bird. I'm really happy about the amount of detail I managed to capture. The sunset on the bird's chest looks super nice but it does make the face really dark. The cat is too blurry.

I adjusted the lighting on the bird's face so you can see it better but I'm not sure it looks any better.
