For one of our clients, D-reizen - one of the leading travel agencies in the Netherlands. We created a tool which makes it more easy and more fun for users to find their ideal Winter Sports destination.
The goal of the search tool is to help people find their ideal winter sports destination by visually setting several criteria, the tool will narrow down on locations/areas they're most likely to enjoy their Ski vacation. Finally the user gets redirected to the site with an overview of accomodations in the top areas.
The interface is designed in a way that users can find their ideal destination in just 5 easy steps overall spending an average time of 30 seconds filling out the form.
Step one, choosing the size of the piste and the level of experience
Step 2, choosing which characters the users are on the ski vacation.
Apres Ski-er, Family man, Student, Langlaufer, Stuntman, Off-piste hero.
Step 3, user can choose the countries that they prefer or move the slider to choose the maximum travelling distance.
Step 4, the user can choose their preferred luxury.
Final step, users get an overview of the destinations matching the criteria in the previous steps.
