The project was made for my Grandparents and our family. They own a little piece of land on the hills of Csobánc, which is one of the mountains of Balaton Uplands called "Witness Mountains". They grow their own vegetables, fruits and spices there, and make special alcoholic drinks, jams and bottled fruits to give it to the family and friends. During my childhood I spent there a lot of time listening to my Grandparent's tales of nature, history and geography, strolling around the neighbourhood and climbing the hills. So this place became very important and familiar to me.

For my degree project I decided to make a recipe book, packaging design and a subjective map of Csobánc. First of all I designed a symbol which is based on an old family coat of arms that I found on my great-grandfathers lawyer business card. The main figure is a pelican feeding its young with its own blood. Along with four other symbols - which represent the knowledge of my Grandparents - this can be used as a stamp on packagings or postcards. I also used this stamping technique for labelling the jams and bottles to make it easier and faster for my Grandparents to write their own labels. Maps, wrapping papers and recipe books are made with risography which has a very similar effect to stamping, moreover it's an environment friendly printing technology.
