The concept of our Weightless Corps installation is based on counterpointing. It is a reflexion taking notice of the surrounding installation of the Ganz Foundry Museum in Budapest and the working processes in the former factory. The ironworking instrument’s weight, the sounds and the red-hot of the smelting process stand opposite to our construction made of light alternative materials and beyond the associations of the forms it catches a cool airy silent instant.
The preparation for the exhibition had been a thrilling experience, so much the more because this installation is our first team work.
Súlytalan tömegek című installációnk koncepciója az ellenpontozáson alapul. A budapesti Ganz Öntödei Múzeum berendezéseire, és az egykori gyárban zajlott folyamatokra adott reflexió. A vasgyártás eszközeinek súlyát, az öntési folyamatok hangjait, forróságát állítottuk szembe az alternatív anyagokból felépített szerkezeteinkkel, melyek a formai asszociációkon túl egy hűvös, légies, hangtalan pillanatot ragadnak meg.
Izgalmas volt számunkra a kiállításra való felkészülés, annál is inkább, mert ez az installáció az első közös projektünk.
