'Grow Me' was a package design project based on a fruit tree germination kit. I came up with the brand name 'Grow Me' in order to generate a personal relationship between the product and the customer. The use of uppercase Paralucent Condensed Sans-Serif typeface gives the name itself a modern feel to it. It enables the viewer to understand the overall design and the connection between the typeface. I picked three tropical fruits and designed the front of the packaging using illustrations of the actual fruit. Use of illustrations was a critical decision for this packaging because the overall design was targeted towards a younger audience. Instead of traditional static upright illustrations on other packaging, I used the mirror effect to give the design a unique style. The rear design of the packaging was mainly to inform the customer about the fruit, the tree and its health benefits. The typeface used was Myriad Pro San-Serif font in order to give a modern appearance. Also, the use of a photograph of the actual tree would make the customer plan ahead of the location to plant the product according to the style and the scale of the tree. I placed social media icons. company website and Zone level in the rear so the customer could stay up to date of their product. The use of colors that relates to the fruit were used on the bottom banner to differentiate the product from one another. It makes the customer to identify the product much easier in any angle.
