TheTasy UX was awarded twice in 2018: at first, received the IF AWARDS 2018, in the Communication category. Then, at the end of 2018 we received the bronze medal in the Brazil Design awards, in the UX category!

IF Awards is seen as the highest recognition from a 63-member jury of independent experts from around the globe in the IF. Altogether, there were more than 6,400 submissions sent from 54 different countries, expecting to receive the highest seal of quality in design.
The iF DESIGN AWARD is organised by iF - International Forum Design GmbH, the oldest independent design organisation of the world since 1953.

The Brazil Design Award is a symbol of  how UX must be driven connecting Users, Business and Tech. For Tasy, this connection also collaborate to give scalability to Design as the same time we never remove user from the center of the process.

"For the EMR Design team, the awards are a prized symbol of all the efforts put into creating a safe, efficient and effective user experience during the last two years of Tasy HTML5's making", says Michelle Resende Campos, team manager of Design in Blumenau. "In addition to the pride felt for the recognition, the iF Design Awards and BDA rewards excellence in the quality of digital design being developed in Blumenau," she adds.
THE CHALLENGE

This fully integrated system for clinical support and management of healthcare organizations, with its workflow-based architecture, promotes consistency and scalability over different applications.  The main challenges were: to develop a design system for a healthcare platform by applying Philips Design principles and also maintain the consistency of business rules and restructure the navigation architecture (in 665 different functions) in order to provide a delightful user experience.
THE APPROACH

The UX Design contemplates Tasy’s principles and presents a solid foundation on design practice at Philips. The challenge was to design a complex EMR system while keeping the legacy by combining best practices of design and usability towards a delightful user experience.

The meaning of design has moved beyond form and function to explore new ways of thinking. Design is experimental and user centric at the same time provide solutions that are scalable, effective and delightful. At the convergence between all this we can find meaningful innovations
THE SOLUTION

A consistent navigation architecture ensures easy, user-centric operation that allows quick adoption and reduces error. Visual consistency with a clear UI improves readability so the user quickly has a full understanding of data, while functional consistency speeds up operation and promotes safety. Ultimately, with more complete patient information, providers can make well-informed treatment decisions faster and more safely.
THE IMPACT
1. Design scalability
2. Consistency
3. Optimized documentation
4. Better metrics collection - direct impact on task efficiency and effectiveness measurements

Components examples:
Clinical notes with consultation

This component was mainly designed to give support to the clinical team during a note regarding the patient. With this stacked panel it is possible to navigate across different applications, keeping the patient notes accessible to the be edited.
Clinical panorama
The Panorama support the clinical and operational team providing an overview of institution beds. This component also provides beds allocation details and give to the clinical team an easy access to the actions they must take over each specific patient.
