During the research of own roots and family tree it can be revealed that the “roots” are actually the roots, and the “tree” – a tree. The displaying of the years of lived experience – that’s the rings on trees cuts and family’s photo album reminds herbarium. The project presents 12 paintings (6 pairs – the unity of opposites) reflecting six stages of life: newborns, childhood, teen age, youth, maturity, oldness. Attempt to identify how they could look like directly in the plant world.
