Project Description:
This project was created as a modernized version of the cook books I grew up on. This turned into an iPad app after the concept was set in stone. This is the new aged way of cooking Low-Protein foods for children and adults with PKU.
Mission/Goal:
This app is designed for individuals with the rare genetic disorder called Phenylketonuria (PKU). The goal is to give these people a chance to feel like their diet isn't overlooked by modern day society. The food restrictions can be very limiting so having a digital resource that pairs community and good food can be the thing that spins this genetic difference in a positive direction.
