Hygge
Svenska Skogen is an organization founded to spread knowledge about the Swedish forests and show how we can use its resources to produce sustainable materials and products. They are currently looking for new inventive ways to use paper within the interior industry.
I, togethxer with graphic designer Stina Jonasson have therefor created Hygge — a lamp made of 90% recycled paper. Hygge is the Swedish word for cutting area which was our source of inspiration for this project. The shape is inspired by a tree’s age rings, this to show the materials origin and heritage.
