I'm not one to revisit old art, but for this one, I wanted to.
I was never really happy with the portrait when I first made it. I think deep down I knew I wasn't ready to create what I truly envisioned here, so I left it alone for four years. Now, even though I didn't spend too much time on it altogether, I feel like I was more capable of painting something that encapsulates such an important moment of my main character's journey.
