This is the outcome of the one week workshop “Character Walks - Obscure walkcycles of strange characters“ at KISD Köln International School of Design with Prof. Nina Juric and James Berrett. The short term project was about creating our own weird characters and experimenting with walk cycles that would fit their personality. The aim was to make it as weird as possible, constantly trying to push it further.
The 73 year old troll Ondrej Larsson is living somewhere in the far north of Scandinavia, nobody knows where exactly. He‘s a weird little guy with a big head and a dirty apron. Due to his gout and his age he walks quite slowly, but Ondrej forgets about that when he spots one of his boar companions. It just makes him happy to play with them and feed them his homemade lollipops. They're the best!
