Redesigning E.B. White's "quintessential love letter to the city", and reimagining the reader's reading experience of Here is New York. This foldout accordion book was redesigned and typeset on a simplified grid of Manhattan. 

As you read and walk along the streets of New York with the words of E.B. White, the redesign book takes you to places on the grid of Manhattan itself. For example, when White mentions Grand Central, a yellow line takes you across the book, folding out to where Grand Central actually is on the map. The book eventually folds out into a 100 inch long sheet of paper with the entire text of the original book typeset around the simplied grid (map) of Manhattan.
