This project was created for my Graphic Design class. We had to create a poster on a significant leader and choose colors, images, and quotes which would represent them. I chose to do my poster on Malcolm X, the civil rights activist. My main focus was on the color red; while some people see Malcolm X as an extremist, I see him as passionate and thought the color would represent that. I chose yellow because I felt that complemented the red. I chose a portrait picture of Malcolm so the viewer would know who he was and a protesting picture in the background to show what he did. The quote being repeated in the back of Malcolm X is one of his most famous quotes which he is known for and I felt it needed to be included to show how determined he was.
