Growing Up
Growing up isn’t something that can be thrust upon you. You have to really want to grow up. One becomes an adult through experiences like education and travel, reading and learning, challenging their own beliefs. I decided to photograph friends around China town in Manchester, experimenting with different film on a manual 35mm camera with a flash gun. These photographs were presented in a mini magazine/zine which experiments with with layout, type, and photograph manipulation, which were printed onto newsprint.
