This site was made to advertise and give information for an international conference in Dallas. It was made as a child site to an existing site, but its own menu for navigation. It was made with the conference theme in mind,

Priority was given to a mobile-friendly design.

When starting the design for this site, I decided to consolidate the different menu options to make it simple to use. The previous menu had each page listed in a single drop-down menu.

The home page also features a different approach to usability. This replaces the previous approach which was a thumbnail image for each part of the menu.

I created the icon images in Illustrator because I could do so quickly and I wasn’t allowed a budget to buy any.

Along with a different blockquote design, a section about the speakers was also added. It was all made with hand-written CSS.
