If you are interested in learning Zbrush but don't know where to start, I highly recommend Alex Figini's class on Learnsquard.com. I pretty much had no experience in Zbrush prior to taking the class and it helped out immensely. The mech parts where modeled in Zbrush, the clothing in Marvelous Designer, and the whole project was rendered in Keyshot, with a little bit of a touch up in Photoshop.
