Avis & Budget Direct Connect Booking Engine
Avis and Budget Car Rental relied on an aging mainframe for reservation data going back to the 60s. Web services (XML/SOAP) enabled a way to access reservations and present an http front-end that could be white-labeled and presented in a variety of ways across the travel industry.

In the final rendered design, we picked up the look and feel of the partner's website and reoriented the layout to list brands vertically and included a progress bar.
The final version removed the car images to ease page load times and impact on the database; images were available under the "view info" links.
