This is my first attempt at using the integrated physics engine in Blender. Again like many of my projects, this was based upon a tutorial on YouTube (see below) which explained how physics simulations work in blender.
As for the materials, the cloth has a glossy shader with a very high roughness setting, and the bowl is a half and half mix of diffuse and glossy shaders.

For lighting, I used an HDRI, which I had learnt how to do not long before I took on this project.

This project at the time was a very large workload for my laptop at the time, as there was a lot of geometry, as shown in the wire-frame screenshot below.
