The poem I chose to base my project on is ‘Deireadh le Teorainneacha’ or
‘An End to Borders’ written by Gabriel Rosenstock. My reason for choosing this poem was solely based on the fact that when I read this poem it had vivid imagery throughout and also a powerful message. I decided to focus on the first half of the poem which is more of a declaration or a demand. This led me to the portrayal of this poem as a protest, and if it was, then how would someone use it to voice their message. My conclusion was to create a large scaled banner, and to apply the verses of this poem to them by hand. I believe by doing this it gives the viewer an insight into how a protest banner with this message would look like and the impact it would have.
