The amazing folks over at Refuge VFX make some of the creepiest creature effects from Portland to Hollywood. Known for character animation, finishing and of course visual effects, Refuge has spent the last few years focusing on the hit TV show Grimm. They want to take a leap and expand their reach beyond primetime. The brand needed a refresh and a new site in order to appeal to a wider audience and allow people to see Refuge as more than just a creature house. 

From sketching, doodling and drawing creatures to vectoizing icons, this was a fun process, with great Portland people. We pushed away from traditional monster icons and into the Refuge 'R' as a strong film symbol. The process was extensive and the final result was something that could be slapped onto the side of spaceship.
