Viet Film Fest is an international Vietnamese film festival running for over a decade in CA. Since 2014, organizers invite creatives from all over the world competing to create poster for the screening event taking place in spring.
I want to use familiar symbols of Vietnam like iconic hat, long dress (ao dai) mixed with cinematic theme. I also imagined a festival with horror theme as it grows as a strong genre in Vietnamese cinema nowadays.
