Cló Draoíchta was a project designed to help advertise both the Irish language literature
festival, IMRAM, as well as the Irish poetry exhibition held in DIT, Grangegorman.

The aim was to create postcards that typographically interpreted a poem of our choosing. The poets we could choose from included Declan Collinge, Rody Gorman, Gearóid Mac Lochlainn and Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh. The postcards were then distributed around
libraries, bars, cinemas, bookshops, and at IMRAM festival events across the country.

For the exhibition itself it was decided to create a sea of postcards as an installation. The image of a sea was a recurring theme throughout the poems, as well as the name IMRAM translating to voyage.
Three thousand postcards were used in the production of the installation and myself and some of the other designers had to customise six thousand paperclips by hand in order to thread the wave together.
The 100 archive included the project as part of its 2016 selection.
