My design journey started with a paper, a pencil (yes, very clichéd) and my best friend teaching me expressive typography over the phone. 

This was the first time I applied design thought, consciously.
I was so fascinated with the concept of how something so simple could be so gripping and fun. Everyday objects became a source of amusement and I was constantly thinking of the next object that could be expressed creatively.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my description of expressive typography.

Expressive Typography is the creative expression of the meaning of a word using objects, images or narrative.

Gradually, I started applying this school of thought in many aspects of my life.
I realised that design is more than what your software enables you to do.
It is about perspective.
