This is the program for the Gala and Awards event that happened the last night of the international IPATA conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The A4 size paper was printed front and back to create a simple program. It details the events for the night, recognizes the sponsors of the event, and displays the theme of the night: "The Best in Show".

The information was organized using paragraph styles in InDesign which were useful in keeping coherency in the project. The colors were chosen by the board to go with the dog show theme.

Part of the problem was including the ribbon with the Yorkie outline to give it a dog show feel. I started out by creating sketches on paper of different ideas that I had. These included other varieties of dogs, dogs with leashes and even a dog on a stand. I created digital versions of these and sent them to my group and employer. The responded with many different ideas with no set conclusion. I did my best to incorporate their ideas while keeping it simplistic and clean. The result was something I would have not come up with on my own.
