After a long time of thinking that I would never be able to draw using a pencil (or wacom stylus), I took the plunge and took an online drawing class through Foothill College. This class was great! Contrary to my assumption, the online aspect heightened the experience rather than diminished it, and it remains one of the most interactive and collaborative classes I've taken.
The drawings below were my homework assignments in reverse order. We started with basic geometry and gesture drawings to shaded still lifes with different textures in only ten weeks. I can only imagine how my career might have been different if I'd had this class earlier.
