The conference hall consist of a central reinforced concrete ring, which can host 1100 spectators, and steel radial frames surrounding the concrete ring, that can sustain the adjacent hallways and technical spaces. The architectural framework of the building had a modern complexity, leading to structural design challenges such as designing bent columns, secondary structures that could sustain separate facades and sustaining a roof opening of 31.4m.
