Romanian Development Camp (logo design & visuals)

Romanian Development Camp is a brand event for the national development community, attended by representatives of line ministries from Romania, of state partners’ governments, of the nongovernmental sector, academic sphere, media etc. The event is an opportunity for debate and for facilitating interaction with experts and especially with representatives from state partners. The 9th edition focused on the new Sustainable Development Goals established in the 2030 agenda.
My part in this story: a new visual identity for the event, a representative key visual for the 9th edition and its theme (the new Sustainable Development Goals) and other design materials (posters, rollup, totebag design, coverphotos, etc).

LOGO
in the brief they said they wanted a logo containing a hand and a tree to show the idea of growing, development, community; they also had some colors they wanted to use in their new identity;

KEY VISUAL:
the idea was to focus on the 2030 agenda and its sustainable development goals in an appealing way; being targeted to a mixed public (representatives of ministries, academic sector, NGOs, media, students, etc), i couldn't go too crazy with the visual. i had to keep it aligned to some standards; here are the 3 key visual proposals; the left one was the winner;
POSTER:
in the poster announcing the event i had to bring together the key visual and the event's title, tagline and details; the challange here was more about creating the right visual hierarchy; also we have the freshly created logo in the footer;
