The cover is inspired by this edition’s feature story about the Cave Clan, an Australian urban explorer group. Instead of going for the obvious solution of a darker color palette, I decided the cover should be composed of gold, brassy, and coppery tones that shimmer in the light, evoking the wonder of discovering a cavernous brick geode.
