This was the idea behind NOMAS. 

Every issue is about a new destination. Every issue tells a story as it was seen and experienced
by the magazine’s editors and photographers. Made of images of streets, people, fashion
as well as of contemporary artworks, NOMAS aims to touch something of the soul
of a place in an ever-changing world.

Every six months the NOMAS team sets out to identify those elements that make each place unique;

the reasons why the people who live there continue to love, to dream, to be proud.

In addition to the interviews and articles, each issue includes also city diaries;

diaries written by authors from earlier centuries as well as contemporary ones.
