Wilbur D. May was an adventurer, rancher, traveler, sportsman, and overall a philanthropist and entrepreneur. His legacy rests inside the building named after him, in the Rancho San Rafael Park, in Reno, Nevada.

The Wilbur D. May Museum was built in Reno in 1985. It contains thousands of artifacts that Wilbur himself collected in over forty trips throughout the world.
In 2010. I was asked to update the informational and biographical boards in order to better tell the story of Wilbur May, and to bring experience of visiting the museum to a more contemporary impression.
