This was my exam project for my elective at 3rd semester at KEA, Digital Aesthetics. The assignment was to pick-out any animal of our choice, and find some sort of angle/topic on the animal, that we could create a landing page based on. I chose the national animal of Denmark, the swan, and decided to make a landing page about greate danish values symbolised by the swan.
As I am far from being nationalist and patriotic my self, in my opinion great Danish values has always been things like welfare, tolerance, solidarity, diversity and always giving everyone a chance by not judging on skin color, social bakcground or anything like that. Other than that slightly political angle, I wanted to show the swan as a symbol in Danish culture as well, by showing cultural elements like the famous fairytale by HC Andersen, the expensive chair by Arne Jacobsen, and the ecolabel, all named after, or with inspiration from, the swan.

Other than creating the landing page itself, working with the graphic elements was very important in this assignment. It was important to document the proces as well, so we were to make a proces video, showing some of the design proces.
