The Bike That Inspired It All

The Beginning..
Great Ideas are forged from necessity
Once an image is burned in your mind of how you want something to look, it is hard to imagine it looking any other way.   This was the case with my helmet and my Harley.  Looking at the bike below you can see a checkered race stripe running down the gas tank and into the seat.   The first time that i saw this i realized from that point on i had to have a matching helmet.

Now that i knew what helmet i wanted, the only problem was finding it.   Short story shorter, it didn't exist.    At that point I couldn't let it go, I had to have a cafe racer helmet with a checkered race stripe and spikes running front to back.  I figure I'll just make it and so it began, slow!
So this is basically the first design that I made and it didn't stop.  I continued to make helmets as you will see below.  All different shapes, styles, and sizes.
