My digital self portrait was intended to be lighthearted and whimsical in order to portray different aspects of 
my personality in addition to incorporating  things that I enjoy and value.  The background of a mountain range 
represents where I am from, Colorado, and also my love for hiking and being outdoors.  The mug that I am sitting
 on in the photo illustrates my love for tea and colder weather where I can snuggle up with a mug of something warm
 and be with family and friends. The chocolate chips that fill the mug are my sweet tooth and obsession with 
chocolate.  I created a design of different black and white maps to occupy some of the white space on the mug to
 represent my love for travel and exploration.  The way the continents are arranged in a non-orderly fashion represents
 how I don’t know where life will take me and that I am excited to see where my future leads. I used Adobe Photoshop to create this for a class project in Graphic Communications 1020 at Clemson University.
