Marival: A Family’s Vacation Adventure

We had the privilege of creating a video campaign for Marival's Family Emotion vacation package. Utilizing poetic storytelling, the script allowed us to explore the visuals creatively in design and animation. We wanted to breathe life into the environments and have an illustration style that was unique and interesting. We also enhanced the visuals by mixing 3D and 2D elements into the world.

Before anything else, we had to find the right style for the animation. So, I did these characters along with a scene picked from the script to see if we were going in the right direction.

CHARACTER DESIGN

This project required a lot of character illustration. Most of them had 2 to 3 views, and on top of that, some had more than one outfit. The following characters were made by Fernanda Ribeiro, which did an outstanding job!
