Ghiras Foundation is a civil society organization concerned with childhood development, protection and prosperity.

 

 A group of human right activists in Aleppo had noticed an increase in violations and crimes towards childhood such as starving, siege, deprivation of education, random bombing which resulted in children death or diverse sorts of disability; not to mention the psychological and social results. All these problems had resulted in an increased need to child protection.
The activists started to organize the work. The outcome was the commencement of several programs concerned with damage and violation documentation, and other relief and developmental projects in the name of Ghiras Foundation by 21st of November 2012 as a non-governmental civil foundation aiming at children development, protection and prosperity.
