KILLZONE 4 SHADOW FALL

During my internship at Guerilla Games I was tasked with the design of (parts of) Vekta (an in game city). Most of my work was focused around the Helgast side of Vekta and the design of the infrastructure for the Container City. The idea is that the cranes would transport any given container to any given location within the Container City underneath the main city. 3D mockups were used to communicate the design at the basic level. This is done through stills and an animation for the motion of the containers. To communicate the mood a full painting is made of the Helagst side of Vekta. All these images went through several feedback rounds from the Art Directors.  In game screenshots of the final Container City can be seen below the mockups images.
