I can't even begin to describe how amazing this campground was!  The night sky was brimming with stars; incredibly unique rock formations surrounded us; and coyotes howled throughout the night.  I spent 2 hours in the bitter cold taking night photos.  Thirty minutes on this picture alone, because traffic kept interfering.  Even our sleeping gear was subpar, giving a newfound appreciation for our warm homes.  Hidden Valley Campground at Joshua Tree National Park, California.  HDR photo; February 2016.
