Daruma doll, a souvenir from my trip to Japan. Daruma dolls symbolize perseverance: when you have a goal in mind, you fill in one eye, and when you complete your goal, you fill in the other eye.
Maneki-neko! Waving lucky cat! While in Tokyo, we visited Gōtoku-ji temple, where the lucky cat was said to have originated. They have thousands of big and little ceramic cats! I bought a few for myself, including this one.
Bought wasabi flavour Kit Kats while in Tokyo. They were surprisingly delicious!
