Exhibition & Signage
Artistic Research goes Hong Kong. Houses that grow themselves, holographic images in quantum physics, visualisations of social change, robots as artists. The projects from “Contemporary Code — Artistic Research” are as multifaceted as this. Twenty selected works give an insight into the ambitious research work of the University of Applied Art in Vienna and illustrate current strategies. A central objective is to meet social challenges through an interdisciplinary approach in arts and sciences. For the university, the pulsating metropolis of Hong Kong is an ideal site to make its research projects accessible to a wider audience. “Contemporary Code — Artistic Research” took place at the renowned School of Creative Media / City University of Hong Kong. Both the design of the exhibition including all the exhibition architecture and planning was developed as well as an accompanying exhibition catalogue.
